I don’t know if it exactly qualifies as a unicorn, but it’s the first one I’ve ever seen in person.

I apologize for the potato/parking garage quality picture

Kinja'd!!!

I think I've only seen one in the wild too, not counting the one I saw in Vegas parked on top of some slot machines

There’s a dude who shows up to my local autoX with a completely stripped (no body panels or anything) one. It’s pretty cool.

I live in the Bay Area. I see one probably every few days. Model S’s on the other hand are a dime a dozen. Definitely the “it” car in the tech crowd.

I wish my uncle had kept his. He leased a roadster sport for 3 years (lease ended last summer) and the thing was a spaceship. Instant torque from ZERO rpm. I ragged on him for spending (CPO) Porsche money on leasing a car, but when I got my permit and was allowed to drive the thing, oh boy did my opinion of it change. First car I’ve ever piloted to 60 in less than four seconds, and man, is that a feeling. I have some pictures somewhere of me in it I’ll have to dig up.
